I'm looking for pretty much the cheapest LCD I can find. I'm building a digital readout/experimental CAM (computer aided machining) box for my machine tools, and it needs to have an LCD for space reasons. It's got to have somewhat clear text, and be bright enough to be seen. Other than that, response time, dead pixels (as long as they're not excessive), and cosmetic flaws to the cabinet are all minor concerns. If you have a dead LCD, or one that might need a power pack, I'd still be interested. Ideally, a nice 15" or 17" that just doesn't have the response time you want would be great. I really don't want to use a laptop, but if you have an old p2 or better laptop, that might work too. I'm thinking on a budget of under $100. Don't be shy, post what you got! :thanks:

You should be able to get an old 15" for less than $50 on eBay without much trouble, I think.

You can get this 17" Hanns-G for $99 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824254018) after MIR...

I got a nice 19in with built in speakers that supports dvi and vga. Has one weak pixel that sometimes turns red.

Do you know what you'd want for it??? A 19 would be nice for web surfing, and watching you tube in the garage!

$100 shipped. I have the power adapter and vga cable for it also. Its a great working monitor i used for about a year and a half for testing and repairing computers so it has very low hours.
