4850/4870 and Asus P5WDH Deluxe

I'm thinking of getting a pair of ATI 4850's or 4870's in a Crossfire config, with my Asus P5WDH and an E6600 @ 3 GHZ. But will this aging platform be a bottleneck for these GFX cards?

I did read that somewhere.

The 4870 is due out late July. The 4870X2 will probably be out late August.
