6800GT> Doom3> Graphic ripples in game?

I cant figure this out and its going to be hard to explain, so bear with me, (my specs are below and the 6800GT is installed on the AMD system Rig # 2). First of all these are my settings in the game. Ultra high detail and 1024x768 res., now during game play I get these graphics ripples in the middle of the screen, just like a small water ripple in the graphics, you can see it pretty good when you move the mouse slowly all around, and it dosent happend all the time put enough to annoy me.....I do have the 6800GT overclocked to Core Clock 405 and Memory Clock Freq. 1.11 but this still happeneds @ default settings...I did install Doom3 on my P4 system (Rig # 1 specs Below) but pretty much the same..I mean my AMD system with the 6800GT should play Doom3 @ hight detail and res. without a glich......The only thing I can think of is it could be my monitor which is a Dell 17P analog and digital monitor, and it about 3 years old. I have both computers hooked up to a KVM switch analog and thought it was that but it wasnt...So what do you guys think is it the monitor? maybe it cant handle high refresh rate........

NOT SURE BUT MOST RIPPLES come from vsync being off in videocard settings or in game.Is vsync on in both places?

Did you set vsync on videocard setting to " always on " or did you just turn it on in the game? Also you dont have to turn on anisotropic to 8x set it to app.controlled because it is already set to 8 in the game.

not for nothing, but this happened to me with my 5900xt because of the new drivers, and cause of my dual monitor setup. Are you using two monitors??? try turning off video acceleration on the second monitor.

No I'm not using two monitors.....I have two computers hooked up with a KVM switch and switch back n forth with one monitor, keyboard and mouse....
everything is working great within the game right after I enabled the vsync in the game & on my card setting....
