| Asus Geforce fx 5900 ultra bad performance Hello everyone, I spent a lot of time reading this forum, but this is the first time I have a serious question myself. While playing Ut2003 I noticed a lot of frame drops when there are a few players on the screen. I'm talking about going under 20 fps. I read a lot of reviews about this particular card and almost everyone was enthusiastic. The average framerate for Ut2003 in antalus was about 120 fps. My card doesn't even reach 80 fps ! I'm beginning to think that my chieftec 340 watt power supply is responsible for this bad performance. So my actual question is: can a insufficient power supply cause low performance in games ? Or is my card itself the culprit ? Please someone help me out here, it's driving me mad |

| Actually, my power supplies states 360 Watt under full load. I don't know exactly how much it is, 340 or 360 ? I also tried unplugging my dvd writer and two harddisks; no framerate improvement. Otherwise my card works perfectly, no hangs, no artifacts or whatever. |
