ASUS V9280S2 AGP card

Hello: I bought the V9280S2 vid card about a month and a half ago for my new system that was completed in mid June.
ASUS site and the ASUS drivers show it as a Ti4800 SE chip.
It has DVI and analogue outputs.
I don't see much difference, if any at all, between the two kinds of outputs. Should the DVI show a remarkable difference from analogue?
The card inputs my Microtek C997SD, 19" LCD monitor.
Finally, for now, what would be the best driver for this card on Win XP Home?
So far I've tried the last few ASUS drivers, but the programs are really funny.
One of them shows the Live Update but when I click it nothing at all happens. I loaded that driver three time, each time a clean instal and the same thing happens.
I now am using the 44.71c. It too is funny. I did three clean installs (meaning I wiped out all of the previous video and related files before installing the new drivers) and the same funny thing happens. When I click on the LiveUPdate, while the program responds and links to ASUS it returns several potential drivers, but they are all Windows 98 and Windows ME drivers.
At this point I really do not believe I have the best drivers for this expensive card. I wrote about this to ASUS and am waiting a response.
Is the Ti4800SE chipset good?
Any help, advice, comments, or even flames are welcome because when I tried searching abxzone files, 0 was returned so it looks like I am the only one using this video card.
b.
