| http://www.the-ctrl-alt-del.com/Drivers.htm "Yes the detonator 10.50 enable steroscopic support. You heard it here first! And for the first time.... we have stereoscopic support in D3D. Tried it on several racing sims and it works flawlessly. Benchmarked Quake 3 Arena demo001 in stereoscopic mode and got a 20% FPS increase. Also I noticed the 3D separation of the image is much better now. Good work Nvidia!!! " ftp://ftp.reactor.ru/users/reactor/p...a/W9x-1050.zip but its really slow. Most sites have removed it! but i've mirrored it for u US mirror: ftp://ftp.jireen.net/pub/Nvidia/W9x-1050.zip EDIT 1: Ya these drivers are really good @ 16bit. | "The 1050 detonators are awesome for AGP limited T&L apps like mine. I got a 90% speed increase, performance went from 3.7M Tris/Sec to 7.1M Tris/Sec. http://www.mars3d.co.uk" "You know. I bet A LOT of people arn't realizing that Anti-Aliasing is ENABLED by defualt for Direct3D apps with these drivers. And it's NOT enabled for OpenGL. I bet that is why a lot of people are getting slower 3Dmarks." So far comments from Ctrl+alt+del foums Nothing bout crashes yet.

| I tried them, but I am not impressed at all. On my machine with 3D Mark 2001 1.1 I get 300 points less (not anti.) and NFS Porsche Unleashed would not even load. The fastest and most stable for me are the 6.72, I know they are supposed to be fake, but they work very nicely on my machine. PIII 700E @ 945 GEFORCE GTS |
