| GF4 MX440-8X or GF FX5200 ? I need an advice from you all I need a backup vga board to install in my system for when I am selling/bying a vga board .... for my PC to be usable. And I've got the chance to by one of those two : -> XFX Geforce 4 MX440 8x 64Mb w/ TV-Out ( retail version ) -> Albatron Geforce FX5200 128Mb w/ TV-out and DVI ( retail version ) Witch should I choose ? And why ?

| go with the fx5200. both are around the same price. plus the fx5200 is faster and has dx9. |

| I've been in this same boat and got MSI FX5200 without the fan. I has a DVI and VGA connector and 128mg of ram. The dual monitor support and the fact it has a dvi along with the price make it the best one IMHO.

| Yes they are 2 used cards that a friend of mine has for selling : a MX440-8x 64MB for 25 euros and a FX5200 128MB for 30 euros.

| IEHO (In everyone's humble opinion LOL), The 5200 is not a gaming card, and should only be looked at like an entry-level card. Mainstream, you'll need a 9600 Pro/XT or GFX 5700 at least. IMO, the GFX 5200 is better than the MX440... in the cards you specified, it even has double the Video RAM. But I have a MX400 (frankly about the same as the MX440), and it is about 25% scaled down compared with my 5200 (and without DX9 support too).
