| What card offers better performance, the GFX 5200 or Radeon 9550?? (I'm looking at the ASUS 128-bit versions of both... both are identically clocked). This card isn't for me, but for a client. Any other suggestions about the same price would also be welcome 9520TD vs. 9550TD/GE Thanks!

| Bump + addition: Is there a Geforce FX 5500 ? If so how's it perform vs. the previously mentioned cards... Also seen a 5700LE (from MSI) and 5600XT... could someone kindly rank them (5 cards) relative to performance?

| Thanks yamawho, but the link only compared the FX5200U with the 9600SE/9200(&SE). I was more in the line of comparing the 5200 (U or not), the GFX 5500, the GFX 5700LE, and the ATI 9550. /\Haven't seen any comparisons of these! I'd be thankful for some ranking or links to these cards!

| Newegg has an FX5200 clocked at 250mghz for $84: http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProduc...121-149&depa=0 and a 9600SE clocked at 325mghz for $80 http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProduc...121-502&depa=0 and heres a thread comparing them http://forums.invisionpower.com/lofi...p/t121449.html (i know you wanted the 9550 compared but it looks like the 9600SE is closer to the FX5200 and the 9550 is probably further behind both of them) |
