The final kicker was the video output.

"The newer Shuttles have onboard video as good as high end video cards."

My response, "Huh? No."
He interrupts, "Ok, conversation over." And he left.

Do people really believe this stuff? My Shuttle onboard scores which has the MX440 will get less than 4,000 on 3DMark01se build 330. My Ti4200 scores are over 12,000. Heck, my 9800 Pro on the 3DMark03 build 330 scores 5,000.

Really, do people really buy into this stuff with onboard video?
And this from the black paint article:
Quote:
Both ordinary instruction per second and floating point results show a boost from 7 to 16 per cent, with graphics performance following suit.
Point, those were black Shuttle cases with a layer of black paint sprayed over the MOBO, AGP, and other internals to lock those parts in and speed them up.

Just FYI everyone, it's not regular black paint, it MUST be that special black paint that the government paints those helicopters with.

This is the funniest thread I have read in a long time. You guys are making the plate in my neck hurt.

Give the guy a super slushy. He should be gullible enough to convince that the painful brainfreeze is from the brain's ability to overclock when properly cooled and a really smart guy like him would be one of the few who could benefit even though it hurts. No pain no gain.

Simply repeat as necessary.

Have you done any 0-60mph comparisons with your onboard sound vs the PCI sound?

The race for quality has no finish line- so technically, it's more like a death march.

That can only be done with the proper shifter: one of the empty $200 cans of that high-performance black spray paint.

They should print that on the side of the cups that slushies come in. It would confuse stupid people and give us something to laugh at.
