if your vid card is bad, can you tell w/a LCD?


mods, i am sorry if this is too close to my other thread.

OK, i have been having difficulties with my CRT monitor, i have a LCD hooked up now, if there is a problem with my video card, will i be able to tell with the LCD hooked up?

I would make the deduction that the monitor is bad, and not the video card. Make a final gesture and hook the crt back up checking all connections and monitor driver software if avail...What are the general reviews on that model monitor?

there aren't any reviews that i know of, i liked it though. i could do 1280x1024@75hz, adn 1600x1200@60hz, not too bad for a flat shadow mask CRT. i am probably RMA'ing my philips and buying a P95F so i will have two monitor then. i will check my monitor later, probably in the morning, i am leaving again for the night.
