I found this today...

"First up is the high end G92, a replacement for the 8800 lines. This is coming out in short order, we have heard two dates for it, November 12th and November 5th, the former being the more likely candidate. I just installed those drives in xp pro with sp3 and i cant check the temp on my card, it says i need nforce drivers but i dont have a nvidia motherboard.

I think Nvidia has moved temp monitoring and OCing to their Ntune utility in their latest driver release.

No its not just for Nvidia chipsets. All thats required is a Nvidia GPU thats supported.
