Nvidia 175.19 drivers

Nvidia has released new official 175.19 Forceware drivers for Windows XP and Vista. These drivers are for all GeForce 6, 7, 8 and 9 series graphics cards, and contain improved performance and load times for the GeForce 8 and 9 series in some DX9 and OpenGL games due to an improved shader optimizer. They also contain a range of fixes...

"improved shader optimizer" sounds interesting...I just finished downloading the drivers...gotta fire up some games to see if I notice any improvements/optimizations

Re: Nvidia 175.19 drivers

Here is a direct link to the 175.19 as I can only find the 175.16 through NVIDIA's driver search feature.
[edit]
I just tried the 175.19 drivers out. Can't get Anti Aliasing to work correctly in GTR2. They seemed OK in rFactor and Grid though. So I reverted back to the 175.16

Re: Nvidia 175.19 drivers

FWIW I uninstalled the 19's and reinstalled the 16. Crysis and STALKER appear to be running smoother and the FPS has increased to what it was prior to the installation of the new drivers. Got my 175.16's from EVGA. They have not offered the 19's. That should have been a clue.
