| problem with second display in Vista using 4870 I have a Viewsonic VX 924 and VX 922. I know both monitors work just fine so that isn't the problem. I just upgraded from a X1800 XT to a HD 4870. I am using the hotfix version of the 8.6 drivers. The operating system is Vista Home Premium 32 bit. Both monitors show the same thing up to and including the scrolling green bar during boot up. Only one monitor works after that. The second monitor appears on CCC but it doesn't come online when I select "extend my desktop to this monitor" and select apply. Restarting the computer doesn't do any thing. The problem doesn't exist in XP Pro 32bit.
