Question

I am running with a ati radeon 32mb ddr (LE- i think) and am having some glitches. I'm not sure if its associcated with this video card or not:

1) this is a new system with only the video card
in the agp slot running win98se

warning windows popped up as it was looking
for hardware/drivers with VxD errors. After reboot
and loading of asus drivers all seemed ok.
During load of video drivers the same think happened, but after reboot all seemed ok.

2) The ati demo program radeon ark is loaded but
shutsdown after just being started. (I meet
all the min requirements (eq 128 ram min ,etc)

also note after reboot in this mode; i get bios error
about pwr monitor problem; after looking at readings all seems ok and bootup is successful. I do notice that cpu temp is around 70deg C and comes down rapidly.

I'm wondering if this a:
1) video card compat problem
(i think I have an "le" version of the card)
2) video card bad
3) mboard bad

Any feedback would be appreciated

did you recently upgrade to this card? if that's case, you will want to make sure every trace of the old card is out of the system, possibly meaning a format. also, do you have dx8? if so, you need the latest drivers to support it (3056 final or 7078 beta) that's all i can think of right now
