| Sapphire's snappy service... After extensive searching I finally found a place I could download Sapphire's nifty Redline utility (not included in my "bulk" package from Googlegear) which, among other interesting uses, allows for the overclocking of one's card. Settings that don't vanish with the next reboot. Only thing was I needed a key code for it. I emailed Sapphire support to inquire what kind of proof of purchase I would have to supply them for my Atlantis 9800 Pro to get this key code. I expected to jump through some hoops for this, but to my surprise I received an email from them in thirty minutes containing a key code that I successfully used to open Redline. Nice, that. Ati and its partners are quickly making me into a loyal customer. |

I have both a 9600 Pro and a 9800 Pro. I am using the Redline software on the 9800 Pro. I am of a mind to see if it works with the 9600 Pro but I haven't yet tried it with that card. | |

| Where did you get the Sapphire 9600Pro & how much $$$ ? There's different Samsung mem chips that they use & that's very important to me ! (GC2A is better/faster than GC33)

| Sorry, I have an Atlantis 9800 Pro and an ATi 9600 Pro. I picked up the 9600 Pro at Best Buy over in the Gateway Center (just down from Whole Foods) for $200. A week later Comp USA (just down from Best Buy) had it on sale for $180. By the way, Redline works with the 9600 Pro, too. I have noticed something odd, though. Sandra Max 3 reports my AGP bus "is unused or card not fully AGP compatible". It goes on to say "current AGP rate not optimal". This is under the "Mainboard Information" module. This is on the D875PBZ. A quirk of Sandra? The D875PBZ? The 9600 Pro? Or "D: All of the above"? |

| CPU-Z is now confirming what Sandra said. I have no data transfers on my AGP bus. |
