I'm using the P95f right now. Best monitor I ever owned. I did a lot of research when I bought this and I don't remember all the details (like a year ago) but this one came to the top of the list for what I was willing to spend.

It also has a "Super Brightness" feature which is mostly for games. It too bright for text and web but really makes games better. Good colors. I think the "90" is sold mostly at retail stores and if I remember correctly, it has lower refresh rates and lower bandwidth. I remember comparing it to the P95f and it didn't measure up.

Go for it.

im using the P95f+ nice 19 inch black monitor... flat screen ...heavy son of a bit ch ...but it fits perfectly where i need it to go... nice colour and with the ultrabright feature games rock if they are too dark...i wouldn't leave that on all the time though... people have complained about blurry text , but i dont see that with mine...im using it at 1024 x768 @ 100 mhz 32 bit colour...with no probs..it will actually go up to 120 mhz at this resolution....games i set at 85 mhz with nvidia refresh rate fix settings cause it just works better for frame rates in games...but overall its a nice monitor...paid $256 u.s for it at the end of february of this year from newegg....if you have any probs with it you need to go direct to viewsonic so doesnt really matter where you buy it really...

Yeah thats the one I have. Good monitor. You should turn the ultrabrightness off for text. MUCH easier to read. But game are nice with it on.

I not recommending the P95f because I read that you only need a 17 inch. But the P75f is the same. It has the same ultrabright feature.

I would have gotten the 22" if I had unlimited dough.

Are you sure you don't need the 22" monitor?

I like my ViewSonic however it's not in the same league as the CRT you are looking at but the price is higher than what you are looking at.

I had the 17" ViewSonic back when it was a new item on the market, it was a great monitor for me.

I would check Best Buy first. I would prefer to pay up to $20 more at BB than newegg incase the monitor is no good. Free shipping is nice but it ain't free if you have to RMA it.
