my brother just went through this... he ended up with the p90f. Its almost the same as the 95f... but I think it has a little edge.

Go 19 inch though.... but for another 100 you can pick up a 21 or 22

But money is the deciding factor alot of times.

Looked at the Viewsonics in Best Buy at one time, liked the color on these monitors, they have a nice picture.

Don't know retail price for these anymore but last time money was tight and needed a monitor a couple of years ago, bought a HP 17 inch at computer show ( from monitor repair guy) for 65.00 no warranty, still running good !

cheapest price i found was gateway and it is 181.00 with free shipping. money is tight, but i am gonna charge it and pay later, i just can't afford more than 200.00 if i get one at all. if the RMA for my philips takes too long, then i will buy one

Call me old fashion but I don't like the idea of my eyes being 2 feet from a 19" monitor for hours. I own three P75f's and they are great.

well if your cap is 200 bucks... then the viewsonic p90f is out of the question. It is 280. Go with 17 inch from the P or G series of viewsonics.

thanks everyone for the replies, it looks like maybe my monitor is fine, but i kinda want a dual-monitor setup....

maybe i will still get one, and if i do it will be the P75F because i can see the flicker of the screen @75hz, but i can't see it at 85hz
