The ABX Knights - Welcome Sir Skully as the First Member!

ABXZone is a community. Like all communities, ABX exists and thrives only because of the efforts, dedication, hard work, and contributions of its members. The leadership of ABX appreciates and applauds the presence of all members. We have decided to recognize from time to time individual members whose contributions go “above and beyond” and whose efforts truly make ABX what it is. These individuals will be dubbed “ABX Knights.” The person to receive the first designation was so obvious that almost no discussion was needed. Indeed, our first recipient’s contributions to ABX have been so remarkable that not only will he be dubbed an ABX Knight, but will be the ABX Knight Exemplar and receive a Lifetime Achievement Award.

Accordingly, the administrators and moderators of ABXZone are proud to dub Sir Skully as ABX Knight Exemplar and to bestow upon him a Lifetime Achievement Award.

Who is Sir Skully? The following are just a few of the roles he fills and the contributions he has made:
  • He has been at the forefront in supporting ABX from the beginning and through all its incarnations.
  • He has been a rock through good times and bad, adding enjoyment to the good times and lifting our spirits through the bad times.
  • He is our choo-choo engineer, who has more than once kept us on the right track.
  • He has provided assistance to other members with patience and dedication.
  • He is our poet laureate.
  • He is the keeper and dispenser of the often-needed ABX stardust.
  • He is the personification of our motto “Supporting Computers and Building Friendships.”
  • He is, in short, the heart and soul of ABX and a great and true friend to all members.

So arise, Sir Skully, ABX Knight Exemplar. We are unable to truly express the depth of our gratitude to you and we are infinitely proud to bestow this recognition on you.

We are even more proud to call you our friend.

Heartiest congratulations to Sir Skully, or is that Sir "Sir Skully". I suppose we all have our favorites here, but this choice seems like a slam dunk to me.

Congratz Sir!! You are breathing ABX and ABX is breathing you (ah that may not have come out so nice but you know what I mean).

It is great to have you hear. I think you were member no 2 or 3 at the old and first cusl2.com. It's so good to still have you around. Especially with all the health troubles you have gone through in the past.

Salute!!
