Virtualbox 1.6 released

VirtualBox

My virtualization software of choice. It doesn't dig into the OS, and has a small footprint. The company that makes it was acquired by Sun and this is the first release to be Sun-branded. It of course has some options and functionality added specific to Solaris, but is a solid release with improvements all around.

Re: Virtualbox 1.6 released

I've never been able to get bridged networking working in VirtualBox, so I've never really liked it. I believe VMWare Server still has more features as well.

Now if only VMWare would do a build for Solaris...
