Well a little more info about your system would be good, but, if you go into the bios F2 and go to IDE config then sata mode. You should have a choice between "enhanced" or "compatible" mode. What ever it's set to now change it to the other choice and try it.

Re: How to install AHCI BIOS in window vista.

thank you for your reply.but it did not work. there was no option as you said but i pressed F2 and tried by going to standard CMOS features where there wa date time and SATA 0, SATA 1 till SATA5.In SATA 0 there was samsumg hd321kj and there was option of halt on at down of that page.

after pressing F2 there are many option like system info , standard CMOS features , ADvanced BIOS features and so on..

so what sell i do . if you need more information please tell me. thank you.

Re: How to install AHCI BIOS in window vista.

There are many different bios for many different machines. If you look around in the bios you should find a similar setting. But you still need to tell us what your computer specs are ! Someone here may have a similar machine and have more info.

Re: How to install AHCI BIOS in window vista.

First you need to eliminate any virus or spy ware, what are you using? Then you should run memtest and go from there.
