Selective removal of restore points?

I have been playing with a fresh install on a new notebook with Vista...I found a firewall program that wasn't happy and trashed my new install, so I was able to use a restore point to save it.
While I was looking at the restore points, I noticed a few extra that I don't want.
So...reading a bit about restore points, it says the older points are removed first. I don't want that. The newer points are from software that screwed the install up and I want to remove the newer points and save the old one.
No need to waste space and loose the one I want...

Anyone know how to do this?

I did a little Googling, Ozzie, and unfortunately it looks like that's not do-able.

Re: Selective removal of restore points?

Heh...thanks Al...I was doing the same. Not much flexibility with this restore thingy...
Looks like I'll be turning it off and going back to Acronis again. I was just experimenting and found out I didn't like it so much.

Re: Selective removal of restore points?

Turn off system restore on that drive and it'll delete them all..
Turn it back on and make a new one, that way you'll have one restore point the way it is right now.
