| Vista 32 and 64 bit install issues Vista has issues installing on a PC with more than 3 gigs of ram. If you get a crash during setup or are unable to boot after setup. Remove enough ram to be under the 3 gig limit and re run setup. Once Vista is up and running get all updates from MS and then add the memory back. Or Another way around this is to slipstream the patches so you can install with over 3gigs of memory installed. This is the best choice of the 2 IMO. See Error message when you try to install Windows Vista on a computer that uses more than 3 GB of RAM: "STOP 0x0000000A" Just one more reason to dislike Vista!
