| Re: Vista Home Legally, just one. M$ will only allow you to install it on one computer. It won't let you activate that particular CD key on 2 or more computers. |

| Re: Vista Home Vista automatically activates itself via internet, if you don't have an internet connection then you can activate it by phone. Activating means that the key you have provided during installation will be validated, it will check if the key is a valid one. If, by "register", you mean buy another legal key, then i can't help you. I don't know if there are ways of obtaining a legal key, and just a key, via internet. I hardly doubt that there are ways of obtaining a legal key by phone. You could try to search for it with google, but be aware, there will be tons of sites that sell illegal copies.

| I don't own any copy of vista. But doesn't M$ have a frequently asked questions section on this at the MicroSoft website? If they don't then the company is really worse than I thought! ![]() |

| Re: Vista Home I can't tell you for sure, but as far as i know you can do a clean install with the upgrade disc. The famous 4gb "limit" is not really a problem, even if you use a 32bit OS everything will work, you will just be limited to something above 3gb. If i remember right the vista dvd contains all 32bit and 64bit versions, thus you don't need to buy another vista disc. Just install the 64bit version and you get the whole 4gbs.
