| Vista photo gallery problem Hi, I copied a lot of pictures the other day from a CD and when I try and make changes to them using Windows Vista Photo Gallery, I get a message saying that an error is preventing it from saving the changes to the picture, I had a look on the internet but did not find a solution so I was wondering if anyone else has had this error before? Any advice welcome. Thanks, |

| Re: Vista photo gallery problem I'm not sure, but i guess those photos could have their "Read only" flag checked and thus Photo Gallery doesn't allow you to change them. Try to see if those files have read only flags checked and if unchecking them helps you.

| Re: Vista photo gallery problem Did you close Photo Gallery before changing the readonly flag? I don't think there is a problem with Photo Gallery, and i also doubt that reinstalling vista will help. It sounds like the error has a rather simple cause...are you sure you aren't trying to modify the photos on you cd instead of those copied to your HD? Does it work with other photos you have on you HD?

| Re: Vista photo gallery problem Hi, Its the same with all the pictures on the hard drvie and I made sure that I copied then to the hdd but the problem is still there. Thanks, wizkid |

| Re: Vista photo gallery problem Well then i guess it isn't just a simple issue. Maybe it is a bug, you could check if there are updates for Photo Gallery... Other than that, i really don't know how to help you, sorry.
