Vista Service Pack 1 and memory

I got service pack 1 installed last week. I was going to device manager when I happened to notice the memory on my computer properties. It is showing 4 Gigs of RAM. Prior to Service Pack 1 it only showed 3.5 Gigs. Very interesting. Wonder if it is a fluke or they changed something. Check out the picture.

Re: Vista Service Pack 1 and memory

This was one of the changes they said they were going to do in the Release notes.

apparently Service Pack 1 correctly shows the amount of memory you have installed...but you still cannot use that extra memory without switching to 64 bit

moongamers?
