Re: Problems That Have Arisen In The Last Day Or Two

threads with a high post count such as "word association" thread are returning blank pages for me when I try to access...this occurs when attempting from site or from email notification

Seems to be working ok now. There appeared to be a temporary outage of the entire site this morning, sometimes resulting in failure to return anything, and sometimes resulting in a blank page.

Regards,

Everything seems to be working OK for me now; however posting activity on the site is very low lately.

Re: Problems That Have Arisen In The Last Day Or Two

I don't have any problem with either the log-on retention or viewing the threads with large post counts, with either FF3 or IE7, running on XP. Strange that some of us have these problems and some of us don't.

Re: Problems That Have Arisen In The Last Day Or Two

Well, this is amusing.... I was able to view the word association thread by hitting reply, but as soon as I hit submit with my reply it transferred me to a blank page, lol. My reply , however now shows in the thread ... I would test other threads I have posted in to see the post count size that this phenomenon occurs at, but my ability to view all my previous posts is now gone from user cp, so I guess I will just try random threads. wheee!

Re: Problems That Have Arisen In The Last Day Or Two

I noticed that the skin login box doesnt offer the option to tick the "remember me" box. I'll be reskinning the forum over the newxt few days, and will ensure that box is re-added. That might help. In the meantime, if you can try clearing your cookies, and emptying your browser cache, that might help.

The emptying the browser cache might help with the person having problems viewing the busy threads (such as the word association game). If not, the new skin might help with that also, once its in place
