| I am currently using CUSL2 Board. I have a retail Intel PIII 733 MHZ CPU with 512 MB PC133 SDRAM (MICRON) , Diamond Viper II 32 MB AGP Video card and a IBM DESKSTAR 75GXP 30GB Hard drive. May I know what kind of settings I need to set in the BIOS / CMOS, in order to push the performance of my computer to the limit. Please advise. |

| Have you looked thru all of your bios settings? If you don't know what you are doing, don't mess with the core voltage, as that could allow you to overheat your cpu easily. But play with the cpu speed setting and see how you do. Also look at your ram timing settings under chip configuration or whatever it's called. If you can run with the CAS and RAS settings at 2 instead of 3 it make a decent improvement, and the 5/7 vs. 7/9 helps too at the lower setting. Experiment carefully in small increments and see what happens. And watch your cpu temperatures too.

| Well, as randy sez, experiment and watch not to mess to much with the core voltage (at least 'till you get the feel, and up to 10% before you work on some extra badass cooling) . Also, with your Micron - I got mine 2x256mc only to 3.2.2.7/9 - maybe you can do better... Check all the posts on how to get agpx4 over 140FSB and memory tweak - it's real simple and helps boost scores alot ! (SisoftSandra...3DMARK2000..etc..) Best of luck, Bajo.

| Can someone help me with this one You may get better results with less memory.512 MBis way more than most people need & will effect your achievable memory timings & clock speeds negatively. If you cut back to 256 MB you will get better o/c performance. With all my background programs running I have between 50 to 70 MB free memory, more than enough to run most programs P3-866@910MHz CUSL2 256 MB PC150 Kingmax@cas2 Highest 1040MHz@cas3 1.9 volt |

| Well, I guess I need to check that out, will reduce to 256 and let y'all know... Regardz, Bajo.
