| How is AC Freezer 7 Pro w/ Conroe? I'm looking for a relatively inexpensive HSF for a Conroe E6400 that will be better than the stock fan. Is the AC Freezer 7 Pro easy to install? I've heard the clips can come undone easily and shift positions, is this true? Also, if anyone has used it with the Gigabyte GA-965P-DS3, can you confirm that it fits?

| I had the Freezer 64 on my Opteron, and I have the Pro 7 on my e6400 with the DS3. It fits great, is very quiet, and I my overclock is up there with people using WC and all the other huge heatsinks. They are awesome.

| Btw, Gr8Golf ... do you have an after-market cooler on your NB? I'm only hoping to get my FSB to 800MHz, so I'm not even sure if I'd need one (since this is the speed the board was made to run at).

| I don't - yet. It does get hot, no doubt about it. I wonder if it would be the weak link stopping me from overclocking higher than I am - but I'm already running at 8x440 and am totally stable. VCore is 1.375 and I've upped the MCH and FSB by 0.1v. I played 2 straight hours of CoD without a hiccup last night and the system temps are remarkably low. I think I may clock it down some - to like 8x400 and drop the extra voltage down to stock. I figure my video card is the limiting factor in my rig now - and it's all I can do to not spring for the 7950GX2 to get a video card worthy of the rest of my rig. I'm trying to wait for the next gen cards.

| I won't be going for a top-of-the-line video card either. I don't want to shell out $500 for a nice card and then have to upgrade again when DX10 comes out. Anyway, I don't plan to OC the FSB, so I don't think it's necessary for me to get a NB cooler. The board was engineered to run with DDR800 memory, so if it can't handle the heat then Gigabyte didn't do their homework.
