| hi Jian, I also had the prob of hot air that raised from the vid card into the pep , i did the following , at the backside of tha vid card there is that little spot that gets real hot. I have used a insulating spray on that spot (very thin layer) and made a piece of copper fit right in between the transistors or whatever and raised it to the same level as the rest of the backside , i used thermal conductive epoxy to mount the copper piece and then placed a heatsink on it with the same conductive epoxy. i then have set a fan pointed at the side of the heatsink and made it suck air from the heatsink , the hotspot is now only a little bit warm to the touch and the hot air is sucked away so it wont come near the cpu !! I liked the setup very much and i feld good of doing the job and made it work. I gues your solution is workin just as good!! , but i realy like it to solve the probs i encounter. It's hard for me to have the case closed for more than a few day's. I am glad you found a way to cut down the temps!! Good luck`!!

| Yeah, likewise! I should really keep the side covers off but the dust and noise from the delta puts me off the idea. I have an 80mm fan adaptor for the pep66 and although the fan puts out 42cfm, it does not cool as effectively as the delta. I think I'll give watercooling a try soon, do you know of any good websites that deals with the topic?

| hi Jian, I am also looking for a watercooled setup , i am getting tyred of the noise. A good place too start reading is http://www.overclockers.com. At the frontpage select watercooling on the leftside colum , there are good articles about watercooling , also under cool links you'll find some site's that do watercooling. There are many vendors that sell watercooling but most of them are no good , thats why i suggest you read a lot first!! If i find something of interest ill let you now !! Good Luck !!

| Hi Heavenly, Already been there. Seems pretty striaght forward, the only thing that worries me is that the water pump will fail! People may consider a pump failure as no worse than a water pump failure, but I think the consequences of a pump failure would be more catastrophic. If the fan fails you will most likely lose the cpu and maybe mobo; if the water pump fails you are likely to lose everything that comes into contact with the water that has leaked out of the melted water block! You're right about the noise though, you're lucky, your deltas are running at 7v. Mine are at the full 12!

| Hi , I dont think that it is possible that your waterblock will melt because it's made of copper and copper has a very much higher melting temp then that the cpu can get when cooling stops. there are numerous progs that shutdown the sys when a temp giving by you is reached(ShutDown is a good one, i use it and have try'd it out and it will shut down when the temp is reached) so that should be not a point to worry about. Good Luck !!
