stock AMD x2 4400+ cooler?

just today i replaced my fan on the standard cpu cooler for a 120mm fan with 80-120mm fan adapater. Now i was surprised to see that the stock cooler blows onto the heatsync? Now I was led to believe that they sucked the hot air away from the cpu? Would it work better if I was to reverse the air flow of my Cpu cooling fan?? What does yours do? Blow or suck?? oooh er...

Some heatsinks do better with the fan sucking air through it while others do better with it blowing through it. It also depends on what is sitting around the HS. You don't want to be pulling hot air from the MOSFETs though the HS. You could experiment with it to see what works best.
