Question XP-120 & A8N SLI Dx?

Does anyone have this combo, XP-120 HSF with the A8N SLI Dx.? I've been reading good reviews but this heatsink looks so massive, I read the compatabilty chart and it say "OK" for this combo, does it fit well? or will it come real close to the PCI-Express card? I think I'm obsessing over these temps I have, my temps now with the stock HSF are 38c Idle and about 52-53c on load, am I wacked or what? How much do you think the XP-120 will lower temps? or should I look @ the XP-90?, or stay with the stock HSF?. I don't do any overclocking but I might want to with the AIBooster.
Please shed some light......

You have the ability with the xp-120 to mount it with the pipes to any side. Meaning either up, down, left, or right. Several review have showned no difference in temps at any mounting direction. As for fitting on your board, I got it to fit with pipes to the right and a NB-1 with fans on both on a IC7-Max3. If if fits on this board (passing the OTES) then you should have no problem. Theramalright's web site has a compability chart, and I think this board is on there.
This brings up a second point though....You are not OC'ing and your temps are what 53C
Anyway if you are thinking about oc'ing this is one of the best air cooling solutions out their. Yet if you are not, you might be overdoing it by using this heatsink.

Thanks jgwhite, but i decided to go with the XP-90, I installed it today and after about 2 hours my temps got better than with the stock heat sink, so far 36 @ idle and about 47 @ load..I used Arctic Silver 5 so I guess temps will get al little better after a couple of days when thing settle down......what do you think?

That is much better temps than what you were reporting in your previous posting. The xp-90 I feel is a more suiting fit for you system and you should enjoy its performance. As for the Artic you are right it will prob lower about another 1 or 2 degrees as it settles.
Enjoy.....now think about OC'ing
