Zallman 7000alcu fan vs OEM fan?

I just purchased a new 3.0E cpu and I have a question about fans. I own a zallman 7000alcu fan that I have been using and am very happy with. But for this new cpu, will it work just as good or better than the fan that came with my new retail cpu? I was to impressed with the older oem fans, but this newer intel fan is pretty heavy with quit afew more fins.

Anyway, your input is appreciated.

Lon

if you already have the fan, and are using it on the mobo you have now, i would continue to use it.

my 7000AlCu worked great on my 3.06.

36 degrees under moderate load (surfing the web, listening to music, occasional video's and anti-virus), 41-42 max under heavy load
with the stock heatsink/fan i was around 48-52 under heavy load, and around the 40's idle... if i remember correctly that is
my case having 7 fans also helps a bit
