Thanks Joe!! I knew I wasn't crazy.. LOL
I was wrong tho, it wasn't Roch but Sierra who posted that link. I didn't have time to check the boards and when I wrote that one with my appology my boss had just walked by so I had to post fast with out checking the links out.

*UPDATE* sharka has fat fingered sales people.. it wasn't shipped. That was a mistake on their part. The date it is supposed to come out thru them is September 15 and I was told it will ship the same day.

Guess what the postman delivered this morning?

It came complete with a free Zalman Baseball cap (that for some reason smells of fish, well, I supposed it was "shipped" after all).

Going to be a long day at work knowing my new toy's sitting at home.

Ok, up and running. first impressions, really nice piece of kit asthetically, almost left it in the lounge as an ornament, lol. Fitting was straight forward and hassle free.

Not sure if it was best to have it pointing straight up so that the air exhausts out of the top blowhole or sideways so that it exhausts out of the back, I've gone with the former, may play around with the other orientation when I'm not so tired.

I've ditched the fanmate and plugged it straight into the mobo header. On silent it's pretty much that, on full it's loud, in a howling kind of way, (I quite like it).

I need to get an accurate temp prog as I'm convinced my ntune's borked, every HSF I've ever owned seems to say 38!

Joebar, paid £52 inc shipping.

OK, just ran Super Pi 32m, load didn't go over 47, that's 11 cooler than the Microchill at the same setting. Idle is 38. I'll try it in a different orientation tomorrow and see if it improves it at all. So far I'm really impressed, CPU is an FX55 (sd core) with a mild oc (220).
