Nice review ...

You might like to add the Zalman 7000-series DOES fit this board ... here .

Any word on the new BIOS and your SATA RAID issues?

That looks really good, and packed with info. Should have a link to an official reader tech disscusion thread which I'm sure it will need!

Great job!

I have to agree. GREAT review Prometheus!

Thank you for taking the time to inform and educate us!

Here's some things I'd still like to know...

1. Do you take a performance hit by using the Serillel converters on PATA RAID (as opposed to PATA designed RAID) and if so how much?

2. It would be nice to get some memory scores on different types of memory once we get a BIOS that is stable (doesn't mess up RAID) and works with the memory timings we choose. It appears from early reports that the new beta may have some problems in those areas.

Again, great review and thank you so much for doing this! I'm going to be upgrading in about a month and am really looking hard at this board!

There should be a more visible link on the front page pointing to the review. The review section should be something that we start promoting more often now they we can fill the empty void in there.
