| Actually no U-turn. AMD has always said it would support DDR2 "when it made sense." |

| It's always been assumed that AMD would support DDR3 or XDR. There were rumors it would skip DDR2 altogether. But AMD never said publicly it would do that. I believe the rumors started with this story. |
