| A Beginners Guide to Firefox Just a simple "how to" writtten by a geek like us. "I've recently come to the realization that even though 90% of people come into firefox 100% unaware of some the most impressive features that are available, this trend does not have to continue forever. As a response to this realization I've decided to publish a small how to, that will run through a number of action that I consider interesting and important to do while setting up firefox, as well as covering a number of features that are often left out but can be incredible." | The final word on Firefox A super initiative Tweakhound! This Guide is very much welcome to the newbie and your excellent guide will contribute to make Firefox even more popular. May I recommend you to include a reference to this link in your extensions section (Chapter 3): http://texturizer.net/firefox/extensions/ That would be helpful. Keep up the good work! Thanks! Any may be you can include a short introduction to what Firefox is all about: "Ben Goodger, the man behind Firefox, posted this on his blog recently, and it just says about it all. Market Dominance: Netscape had it by being first. Microsoft has it by being everywhere. Firefox will have it by being best." Here the link to Ben Goodger's Weblog: http://www.bengoodger.com/weblog/ie.shtml ;-))))) Last edited by switch_abx; 10-27-2004 at 07:02 PM.. |

| One thing I found by accident where it says : ctrl - + increases text size ctrl - - decreases text size If you hold ctrl while using the scroll wheel it does the same of course as it says ctrl - 0 returns text to normal |

| yes... it's true I haven't added in mouse commands yet, such as middle click to open links in new tabs ctrl - scroll to increase/decrease text size ctrl - click to open links in new tabs that might be the end of my knowledge of mouse commands though Anders [edit] I've now added those in |
