Has anyone ever seen side by side benchmark comparisons of the Omega versus the ATI drivers?

I would be interested to see them.

I think more than performance...OmegaDrivers include nice utilities such as RadLinker, etc. They've also been extremely stable since the author tests the drivers before he releases them...an extra level of QA over ATI which is always good....

They install well over existing ones too...overall, I highly recommend you give them a shot.

Just came out and I got them in less than 3 1/2 minutes. Usually slow when they come out because of the DL surge.

Catalyst Driver Comparison
Drivers tested:
Catalyst 5.2
Catalyst 5.1 / Omega 2.6.0.5a / DNA 3.7.5.2
Catalyst 4.12 / Omega 2.5.97a / DNA 3.5.4.12
Conclusion
The benchmarks show a clearly result: The new Catalyst 5.2 hasn't any speed improvement.

seems like 2005 has been a bad year for ATI drivers so far...nothing worth upgrading to...the 5.1 drivers were terrible and even Omega's 5.1 drivers had problems in the beginning...I'm sticking with the Omega 4.12 drivers until he releases his 5.2 driver set

I've nothing but problems with ATi drivers for the last several releases, culminating with a hair pulling non-install of the 5.1's.
I'm back on the 4.12's, but I am now forever cautious of installing newer Ati drivers.
It's time they cut this unrealistic thirty day schedule and get back to a reasonable timetable of every ninety days or so.

Heck, I've still never gotten any version of the CCC to run past the first release of it.
You can bet that when nVidia gets their first .NET required drivers out they will install and run.

When using the 5.1 I got a lot of artifacts in Half Life 2 with a AIW 9800pro 128mb. With these new 5.2 they seemed to have fix it and my score went up 20 points in 3dmark05. I still have yet to test these in games.
