Firefox 3.5 Rolls Out!!

After a year of development, the browser that originally began life as Firefox 3.1 and codenamed "Shiretoki" is being released today (June 30th) by Mozilla.... Firefox 3.5 includes the new TraceMonkey JavaScript engine, which accelerates the open source browser's performance to be as much as three time faster than the prior Firefox 3.0 release. Mozilla has also improved tab browsing, security and HTML 5 support for video and offline storage.

Well, my first, very unscientific impression is that it is faster.

but still not faster then Chrome...if only Chrome would add the drop down list to the address bar then things would be perfect...please Google add this feature in already!!...Firefox is no longer the definitive IE replacement and they know it...they are now in catch up mode
