Gaming Performance: Windows Vista SP1 vs. XP SP3

looks like Vista has caught up to XP in terms of gaming performance...

"Windows Vista's gaming performance conundrum has largely been solved, and it was mainly due to early graphics drivers...It took about a year and a half, but the performance gap between Vista and its forerunner has finally evaporated..."

Re: Gaming Performance: Windows Vista SP1 vs. XP SP3

Nice read and thank you for the heads up.I still would like to see other reviews to.Plus I wish they would have put the 64 bit versions in there as well.I've seen others say that sp3 slows down windows xp 32.But that could just be nothing or has merit.I don't know.I heard other say sp3 speeds things up after a fresh install. But xp32 always runs faster after a new install. Some of the slow downs could be dumping sp3 on a corrupt/over bloated system or ID10T errors.

Re: Gaming Performance: Windows Vista SP1 vs. XP SP3

What are they saying? Performance is the same now between the two OS's?
So SP3 has slowed XP down that much huh...
