Look out Outlook, Google's Wave is coming...
Google co-founder Sergey Brin has put his reputation behind a project launched today ... which seeks to overthrow email as the dominant mode of internet communication and replace it with a new hybrid...
It is set to be publicly available by year’s end...

I'm not convinced that Wave will eliminate email. Google is not afraid to try wacky stuff though.

It's pretty awesome looking, yes. Sexy, even. The whole collaborative editing with full history and real-time stuff is mighty cool. I want that at work where it's mail hell and people who can't operate the forward/reply buttons do so anyway and the result is me going postal.
