| Re: Internet Explorer 8 Beta Due in Mid-2008 I also read on one of the Mozilla blogs that they're removing "hasLayout" which is an ugly piece of hack that never should've been exposed in IE6/IE7 anyway. It does seem like they're making a serious effort to bring IE8 up to a non-sucky level of standards compliance. That's very nice. Now, if they'd only open their process up more. Quality feedback and bug reports don't actually hurt a cause.

| Re: Internet Explorer 8 Beta Due in Mid-2008 Honestly, I think the next big thing is controlling the way you experience the web; Firefox extensions allow me to customize this as I want. IE would be well to offer something similar. |
