How much memory do you currently have - Page 3

16GB in my Mac Pro (dual booting Vista 64 bit)... I think it may be a bit of overkill, but it comes in handy when you want to do some monster render jobs.

My laptop is maxed out at 2GB but my main desktop has 4GB but soon to be 8GB as the same memory I have just went on sale for $80 after MIR. Memory is just too cheap these days, makes me feel like I'm stealing.

With the MIR lets hope there is no stealing from either side...

I'm still waiting for 2 MIR from when I built this system in Jan.

I look for MIR's all the time. I have yet not to receive one. I did have a problem with Dell one time with one. I checked the status of it and found out they sent it to the wrong address. I called and asked how could that be considering the information was printed out and you have my freaking address because I have a credit account with you. They went on to state that the whole process has to be done over and it will be another 4-6 weeks. After putting up a big stink I got it in about a week.

LOL, just got my Hitachi rebate yesterday!
Not bad 7 month turn around... so much for 6-8 weeks.....
