| P4T533 User Experience Well, I thought a poll might be in order after Ozzie's review, so... If you've purchased a P4T533 (not the C variant) how has your board functioned? Pleases add comments on board rev, bios rev, mem type (kingston/Samsung) and Processor type (NWa - 100Mhz fsb, NWb - 133Mhz fsb). If you've overclocked - add the fsb/mem ratio that the board is stable at. Thanks, this should help us all know where this board stands over time |

| Personally I think that asking whether the board is stable at overclocked speeds is rather relative. People should post the speeds they are running at that are or aren't stable.

| Ran memtest86 last night. With the turbo on and memory multiplier to auto. Screen full of errors by morning. Prime95 errors out after an hour. I'm all stock, no OC. Could I have just built this damn thing wrong? I'm fairly frustrated. Wish I bought a P4T533-C. Vacendak

| It's no secret that I love mine...and believe me when I say I've been leaning on it... You know - something else I was just thinking about...in the beginning of our site here, the CUSL2 was brand new. Many that found our forums were talking like the CUSL2 was just a piece of crap and couldn't get it running...RMA's all over the place. Now look at what folks are saying - the CUSL2 has been one of the best boards to come down the pike. Give it time...I think this P4T533 board has what it takes...as soon as folks figure out how to unlock it's potential. Even though I would be happier with better benches...folks are bragging about much lower scores than I'm getting... Sandra memory around 4000 and hard drive over 52,000? And stable at those levels? I'm not complaining...

| I think that "Stable at stock speeds" is not good question because stock speed can be 400 AND 533! My board runs fine with RAMBUS 800, but has random reboots with RAMBUS 1066. Since many people buys P4T533 with RAMBUS 800, they can say that board is stable at stock speed, but this answer is misleading. |

| If you will note the question is How has your P4T533 (RIMM4200) functioned?. The RIMM4200 means at 533MHz FSB. The options in the poll are answers, not questions. Please don't take my response as a put down on your part. I am only trying to help you and others get the most out of this poll. ![]() Quote:

| This board rocks. I have not had any stability issues at all even when I o/c it to 157fsb. Something is preventing me from going farther. Not sure what it is but a 450mhz gain is good enough for me. Mobo - P4T533 bios 1002 rev 1.03 CPU - 2.53Ghz 2x256mb Samsung PC4200 RDRAM Radeon 9700 pro Audigy gamer 1 30 and 1 40 gig maxtor(40 is a fluid bearing model) HD Netgear FA312 NIC CDRW and 52x CD HSF - MCX462-U with 80mm 80cfm fan 2 80mm inlet fans and 2 80mm exhaust fans(these are not the ones in the PSU) 420watt PSU with 2 80mm Edited for a spelling error. |
