| Re: Which Software do you use for Burning Nero 5.5, because I can use it to make bootable discs. This function may have been incorporated with 6 and above but for what I do I prefer the "full" menu (Express Essentials) versus the wizard gui (SmartStart Essentials). Even though I have a file association with .ISO, at work when I double click the .ISO I still have to manually select the 'burn from image' (Image, Project, Copy) icon and then point to the .ISO. If I select "SmartStart Essentials" I then have to selct Data -> Make Data CD -> Image, Project, Copy. So it just adds more clicks. Nero 5.5 is more like k3b. So long as I keep buying burners which 5.5 auto detects, I see absolutely no reason to upgrade to 6, 7 or 8.

| Re: Which Software do you use for Burning Deepburner, Free edition. Though the free edition has little features, it is enough to burn iso images to DVD without problem. I may think of upgrading to the Pro edition. The Nero Express bundled with my LG dvd drive suddenly got screwed and when re-installed, it won't write on dvd disk, only works on CD.

| Re: Which Software do you use for Burning I use a free application called CDBurnerXP to burn CD-Rs and DVD-/+Rs. It's a nice and simple program that has been very reliable and they just released version 4 which I am looking forward to trying. BJB
