sammy, be a little more specific about what you are thinking. In other words, how would this differ from what the forum already provides for members?

as in a dedicated website which gives all info abt abxzone folding community.

so we could have abx team member stats, folding related discussions, advantages of folding, setup instructions on a very classy website.

a separate website would i feel, promote folding as a whole and even help ABXZone to get more active folding members ...

if this is feasible ..... it definitely would'nt hurt ...

sammy, why don't you develop the idea a little more specifically and then post it here. Anything that increases our folding participation is GOOD, for sure, and would be good for the ABX community. There are other ideas being considered for improvements here at ABX, and that would be a good time to add additional folding components. So, your input is very timely. Would you like me to move this thread to the Feedback forum?

Edit: I would encourage other members to add suggestions here as well to help sammy develop his suggestion.

Great, sammy, and thanks for the idea. Develop it some more, and then share your ideas. I'm sure that other members will give you a hand with some additional ideas, and we will see where it goes. I'll move the thread now.

The race for quality has no finish line- so technically, it's more like a death march.

One thing I would suggest. Personally, I would prefer it to be an integrated part of this site, rather than a separate one to keep folding as an integral part of this community and not separate and isolated since it is an important community activity for ABX.

Edit: And, BTW, any other ideas for ABX to increase the community identity would be good as well.

no worries ..... it would be gr8 to have it as a sub-site here itself ...

Sounds like a good idea. I'd like to see something too comparing the various processors and the average times they take to fold various proteins.
