| Nice work Paragon. I wonder if & when DFI will offer a board...I would think that would bridge the gap.

| CPU up to 2990, only 854 on the memory due to the stinking 7 divisor on the the 5000+. I can't get my system to boot a more than 230 no matter what multiplier I use or what voltages, or advanced memory options. Mushkin sent me some settings to try and no luck at all.

| It's totally the board bro, everything is so new so it's buggy. Also you cant expect as much out of mem w/ AM2 as w/ Intel because there is waaay more stress on the mem on an AM2 platform. I had the same type of issues with this K9N, looks like Foxconn is teh way to go until DFI quits slackin and gets the good board out.

| Well bro it turns out that you're right about the board, I have the pre-release version 1.02G that I got because the site I'm now reviewing for is an Asus partner...Mushkin has the 1.03G version (latest) of the board at their shop and they are easily getting 1000 MHz plus with the board. Don't know if you remember Prometheus (Wesley Fink)from here but he just put up a review at Anand and he's getting like 75% OC's using a lower multipliers and easily surpassing 1066 with Corsair Memory (course it's EPP). I really like several of Asus's features better, the overall layout and the passive SB/NB cooling. I'm convinced this memory will run with Corsair and OCZ's memory so I'll be getting a different board (not sure which one as of yet) to prove it.

| I just ordered a ASUS M2N32-SLI from Monarch. Should be in next week sometime. I'm still debating on what AM2 CPU I'll put in it for now. I'm thinking the 3800+. I'm not sure about memory though, I'll most likely go with Corsair since I've had good success with them. I was thinking of going with this model for the time being. I'm not up on the timings for DDR2 but this model 5-5-5-15. Its looks like anything with better timings will cost more than I'm willing to spend right now. I wonder if memory prices will go up or down when Conroe is released? I'll read through the thread now to see if any info pertains to me. ![]()

| Well I went ahead and ordered the Corsair memory from the link I posted in the previous post. It went on sale today for $15 instant rebate at ZipZoomFly and Newegg. But I ordered it from ZipZoomFly instead because it was cheaper with second day delivery. Now I just need the CPU. ![]()

| Well guys I updated my ASUS board to the consumer version, yep the one you have to pay for, and I got some phenominal reasults. I was able to push the Mushkin memory up to 1120 (280 x 10) with Sandra benchies in the 10,500-10,600 range...the Mushkin Redine is superb memory as I felt all along, just took the right supporting cast to make it show! | I'm finally making some ground with this K9N. Took me a full day of tweeking with systool to break 430Mhz 4-4-3, got to 492Mhz so far. Board is super touchy, and sets secondaries that are far from ideal for OCing. Hpw does your Redline clock 4-4-3 Paragon?

| Got my ASUS M2N32-SLI in today. Also got the memory. Nice and pretty. Bad news is I'm going on vacation so I won't be able to put it all together until I get back. I'm still leaning towards the 3800+ but I may get the 3800+ X2. Hey Eldonko, what's the default speed of that 5000+?
