Thanks Blue. I'm tempted...purely because I've not pulled the PC apart in a while.

No problem. I'm going to pick on up when they are in stock everywhere and prices normalise. I like the 8 phase power, I think it'll help with X2's. Plus I emailed a couple of the reviewers and they both stated the board was designed with 2x1gb memory in mind. So that another big plus with me. I've always liked a good Asus board

Very nice benchmarks and thanks a bunch for the pictures of the PCI slots and their clearance of the PCI-e slots. It actually helps my decisioni feel a lot better about getting this board.

I pretty much looks like to me if you have 2x single slot vid cards you''ll have one PCI slot for sound or what ever.

But if your gona have 2x double slot cards it could get a little iffy about midle PCI slot's use

I think it will work but you better have a 120mm fan blowing in the sidepanel with about 75cfm's......

running 703 bios right now. i am going to go buy some floppies so i can flash to a newer version maybe. i will try this first for sure though.

BE WARNED people. the bios is cryptic, if you have tried the DFI bios, that is the ONLY thing dfi has an advantage on.

memtest is running now, which does not register everything about the chipset, gotta look for newer
