Yeah, way too complicated for a video card cooler. There's no more room on my desk.

Price varies. Between $230-330 depending on the vendor.

Great results SB, but I'm kinda like Blue about all this. Nice to watch, but there comes a point where xtreme becomes too xtreme for me. That used to be water. Now I couldn't live without it, but I don't see vapor/phase/liq nit/ice/ coming into my office any time soon.

The TEC chiller was just an idea. But it's obviously too complicated and too involved, unless you have a workshop. Phase change is a different matter. It's really not that complicated at all. I wanted to see what my chip could do. With faster RAM and better VDimm, it could go higher. Even at 3GHz, the chip doesn't feel like it's pushing it. The Mach2 is a loaner unit. Since nVentiv is now bankrupt, I may end up getting an LS since I would have warranty coverage. We'll see.

Re: 5x vs 4x

So since I'm using beta 1005.021, which one should I use? I'm set to 5x in the Bios but sierra you say that's more like 4x. So should I just manually set it to 4x?

Thanks.

I would leave it at x5. Sandra indicates when you set HT to 1000, you're really only getting around 800.
