Hmmm, very strange. I haven't heard of any particular problems with Enermax PSU's and the DFI NF4 boards. Sometimes when the PSU lines sense something they don't like, they either won't power up or they'll power down after only a few seconds. The MSI Neo2 was like that with some PSU's.

I dont know HL2 @1600x1200 is runing mighty sweet with my Two 256mb 68GT's @ 450/1200. I think 512mb would help a single vc atr high res, but in SLI it "might' not be so noticable..??

Here's what I get with my Hitachi SATA-II drive on the Ultra-D. Again, this is single drive performance. Average read speed is about, well, average. Random access times are between 12.5 and 13.5ms.

I have both voltages set +0.1v above default. Some people have them set higher, but I've never felt a need.

John, just buy the board. If you like to tweak the DFI boards are the ones to get.

I'll have to do it later, Blue. I shut down the DFI computer. Spouse and I are getting ready to head to an Indian casino where I can lose my shirt.

What other choices do I have for a monitoring program. MBM5 does not list the DFI nForce4 mobos unless I missed it somewhere? I hate and will not run nTune and use their interface, I absolutely hate it. Anything else available?

SpeedFan is good.

DFI's Smart Guardian for basics

Clockgen for o/c

A64 for mem tweaking

Not bad. Now if they just would release the higher capacity drives. I'm still hoping that Seagate releases the 10Krpm sata300 200 gigger sooner than later. Imagine raid speeds on a couple of those babies.

MBM5 will work with the Ultra-D. You just have to change the configuration file. Link

Development on MBM5 stopped last year, so the only way to get it to work with newer motherboards is by changing the configuration file.

I suggest that you should stick with 310 for now.
