Is their a chart some were on what BIOS "tref" = what numbers coinside with A64 tweeker ????

Like in the BIOS you see 0648 for tref, but in A64tweeker you see 166.3.9uf.
When every one posts their tref settings they allways give out the number that A64tweeker reports.

The tref setting 3120 corresponds to 200MHz 3.9us in the Tweaker. That's usually the default setting. The next lowest setting in the BIOS, 25XX (can't remember exact number) corresponds to 166MHz 1.95us (again, I'm going by memory - no pun intended ). I usually have my RAM set to one or the other. 166MHz 1.95us gives slightly better performance. Someone at XS posted the settings below for Mushkin UTT. Not sure if you've tried them.

Was wondering if anyone is using an xp120 with this board and if you are still able to get memory in the slot closest to the socket?

Hello,

Is the only difference between the SLI-D and the UT SLI-DR the presence of the silicon sata?

edit: according to the specs on DFI's site, this is the only difference.

Heres the deal, I have 3 gigs of Twinmos BH-5, I have tried 3gigs of VX 3200, and now 1 gig of Mushkin blue.

I could get all of them to run 240, it over 240 that is makeing me "CRAZY " That is just to many sticks to be limited to 240 or under. Logic says Blue078 is doing something wrong..... Fate says he my die before he figures it out

5, and you will have to change the config file as per Sierra's post. I just set up the FTP stuff in MBM and can watch my temps from work lol.

Just a lucky guess.

If you use the latest beta version of the Tweaker (0.6) you should see some additional settings like skew. I've left drive strength at 7. Seems to work fine. I believe I have skew control on Auto.

The Mushkin Blues seem to come in many different flavors. Some have the Brain Power PCB, some have green PCB's while others are black. Some use BH-5, etc. From what I've seen, only a couple of people have gotten sensational results. I know a lot of overclockers want to try the Mushkins because they're cheap.

Uh huh, I have some in the mail 120USD for RAM that could potentially do 260 @ 2-2-2 is basically unheard of, however its like a lottery on what you will get and the OC-ability. Guess thats why it sold out in 2 days.

I posted a while ago about getting stable at stock settings. Long story short, I have achieved that now, but oddly enough I had to adjust the vdimm down to 2.7v from what I was using previously.

Initially I was using 2.8v or even 2.9v as suggested by many others for the TCCD sticks in dual channel to "get up and running". But after fiddling with many settings, I determined that it was this setting alone that was causing instability.

So you may be thinking just keep the setting down and be happy, but the problem is that these sticks should handle 2.9v no sweat, and I would like to have the headroom if and when I overclock.

The other odd thing is that memtest86 will pass 20 some runs at the higher voltage, but windows craps out before hitting the desktop frequently until I back it off to 2.7v again.

OCZ has been kind enough to offer an RMA if needed, but now I'm wondering could this be the memory controller on the CPU or even the DFI board itself?
